Great!

It is easy for us to think we are good people. But even though you think you are a good person, the Bible says otherwise...

“No one is righteous not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.”

-Romans 3:10-12

Do you believe in

Heaven

&

Hell?

If you are convicted of murder and you say to the judge “I don't believe in the electric chair.” It's not going to change reality. He's going to send you to be electricuted whether you believe in it or not. What you don't believe doesn't matter. God is just and holy. He gave you a conscience. You know right from wrong.

So if Heaven does exist, will you go there when you die?

Do you think you'll go to Heaven when you die?

Do you think you are a good person?

How many lies have you told in your life?

If someone commits murder, the title of murderer stays with them.

A person who has told even one lie...

(Even a small white lie)

...is called a liar.

Do you still think you are a good person?

Have you ever stolen anything?

(Even if it's small...)

A person who steals...

(Even if it's a small item)

...is called a thief.

Have you ever used God's name in vein?

(Like OMG!)

Great!

That is called

“Blasphemy”

It is so serious that in the Old Testament, it was punishable by death.

Would you ever use your mother's name as a curse word?

It shows a lack of respect.

But you have taken the name of the Holy God who has given you life and used it as a curse word.

Thumbs Up

Last question...

and thank you for
your honesty!

Jesus said:

”But I say to you that everyone who looks at a person with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

-Matthew 5:28

Have you ever looked at a person with lust?

If found guilty, will you go to

Heaven

or

Hell?

He is going to send you to be electrocuted if you believe in the electric chair or not. What you don't believe doesn't matter. God is just and holy. He gave you a conscience. You know right from wrong. Since God is just, He will judge you on judgement day for your sins.

A judge who does not punish crimes is considered a corrupt judge. A judge that punishes crime is considered a good and honest judge. How much more of a good and honest judge would a perfect God be? Since God is good and perfect, He would have to judge sin. That doesn't make Him mean or unfair, that makes Him good and just.

It is tough to consider ourselves guilty of sin. It's tough to judge ourselves. But the bible says we are all sinners.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

- Romans 3:23

It is easy to think we are deserving of Heaven.

Society dictates that as long as we pay our taxes and consider ourselves law abiding citizens, we are deserving of good things.

According to this world, we may seem like decent and civil human beings.

But when we are ultimately judged according to God's perfect standards, we fall short by far.

So please reconsider your stance on whether you are deserving of Heaven

Webster's Dictionary's definition for Liar reads...

Liar noun

:a person who tells lies.

So what does that
make you?

Great!

Great!

Does that concern you?

Now, that is the bad news.

But here is the GOOD news!

Did you know that the word GOSPEL actually means “Good news” in Greek?

The good news
(The Gospel) is that God provided a way so you wouldn't have to go to hell.

God sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to Earth 2000 years ago to save us. We broke God' s law. Jesus paid the fine. Jesus gave His life when He was on the cross. And His last words were...

“It is finished.”

- John 19:30

In other words, the debt has been paid.

If you are in a court of law for speeding, and someone pays your fine, the Judge can legally dismiss your case. He will say:

“You are free to go.”

Even though you are guilty, you can walk out of the courtroom because someone paid your fine.

Even though you are guilty before God, He can let you live forever and He will take the death sentence (Hell) off of you.

All because Jesus paid your fine with His life. And all you have to do to receive eternal life is repent and trust in Jesus as your Savior.

What does “repent” mean?

What now?

  1. Confess your sins to God.
  2. Admit to Him that you are a sinner.
  3. Tell God that you believe Jesus died for you and rose from the dead.
  4. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.
  5. Repent of your sins by turning away from them.

Repent verb

In the Bible, the word repent means to rearrange your entire way of thinking, feeling and being in order to forsake what is wrong. To feel remorse for your sin. But more importantly to show a transformation.

When you repent, you turn away from your sins. This does not mean you will be perfect. We all sin. But it means your view of sin changes. Christians sin accidentally. It means do not sin on purpose.

If you have done the previous steps with sincerity...

YOU NOW HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!

The good news is that Jesus died for your sins so that you don't have to go to hell!

Our prayer for you is that you took this to heart.

Now get yourself a bible, read it daily and obey it.

Then find a local non-denominational church, go there and tell them that you have accepted Christ as your Savior.

Cross

So... Again,

If God judges you by the Ten commandments which are called the moral law (His perfect standard),

Would you be found...

Innocent or Guilty?

So if God judges you by the
Ten commandments which are called the moral law
(His perfect standard),

Would you be found...

Innocent or Guilty?

A judge who does not punish crimes is considered a corrupt judge. A judge that punishes crime is considered a good and honest judge. How much more of a good and honest judge would a perfect God be? Since God is good and perfect, He would have to judge sin. That doesn't make Him mean or unfair, that makes Him good and just.

Please reconsider what you have read here today. Even though you think you are a good person, the Bible says otherwise...

“No one is righteous not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.”

-Romans 3:10-12

What do you think happens to us when we die?

God's standard of good is perfection.
Are you perfect?

“Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.”

-1 John 3:15

In other words, If you just hate someone, you are considered a murderer.

The bible teaches that even a heartfelt desire to do something wicked...

(Thinking about doing evil)

...violates that command.

All evil acts start with a thought.

That is why the bible says

“No one is righteous.”

If God exists, then you agree that God is good and perfect.

If a judge in court is a good judge, shouldn't he see that justice is done?

Should he let criminals go free? Shouldn't care about justice?

So how much more should a holy and perfect God care about justice?

So if God is good, then you must agree that He is going to punish thieves and murderers and rapists.

Hell is a real place.

The Bible says:

“If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better for you to enter Heaven with one eye than having two eyes and going to hell where the fire is never quenched and the worm never dies.”

- Maßtthew 18:9

God's place of punishment is Hell. Reason demands if God is good, there must be a day of justice.

He spoke of Hell being a place of terrible torment where one will be damned forever.

Do you believe in God?

There is evidence of a creator all around us.

When you look at a building, how do you know there was a builder?

That is easy...

Because it is there.

A building cannot build itself.

Same thing with a painting...

If you went to a friend's house and you saw a painting on the wall and asked who painted it, you would look at your friend with concern if he said it painted itself.

The painting's existence is evidence that there was a painter.

Let us talk about what caused the universe to come into existence.

We will use

Philosophy, Math, and Science.

Evidence of a creator is clearly seen in nature all around us:

Flowers, birds, trees, stars, fruits, the human eye, babies...

The bible says:

“The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen and so they have no excuse for not knowing God.”

- Romans 1:20

Now, as an Atheist, you either believe that nothing created everything...

...Or if you follow Philosophy, laws of logic, and Science, you realize that things just don't pop into existence out of nothing.

Philosopher

David Hume
said:

"I never asserted so absurd a Proposition as that any thing might arise without a Cause."

Theoretical Physicist
Stephen Hawking

said:

"Almost everyone now believes that the universe, and time itself, had a beginning at the Big Bang"

So what WOULD cause the universe to exist? Well, we have two options...

Whatever brought time, space, and matter into existence, logically, would have to be:

Timeless, Spaceless, and Immaterial

Two criteria fit
that category...

1. Abstract Concepts like Numbers and Symbols

But abstract concepts like numbers or symbols are not causal agents. Numbers and symbols don't bring things into existence.

2. An unembodied mind

What has God or an intelligent creator always been?

Where does all the evidence of philosophy, math, and science take us?

The Big Bang

established by Einstein's Theory of relativity.

Every Scientist and Philosopher believe that the Universe had a beginning of some kind.

Whether it be the Big Bang or some sort of causal agent. That has been agreed upon by all of the minds of Science, Math, and Philosophy.

When was the last time you saw an object appear out of thin air?

Have you ever seen something form from nothing?

That is given the fact that we have the building blocks of life all around us like:

Sulfur, Phosphorous, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon, & Hydrogen.

But what caused

The Big Bang

Or the beginning of the universe?

No one can make the argument for or believe the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything.

If the universe were eternal, it wouldn't need a god.

The universe has been found to not be eternal.

It had a beginning.
And something had to cause it.

So, we have established that:

  1. Nothing cannot create everything.
  2. The universe had to have a beginning.
  3. Flowers, birds, trees, stars, fruits, the human eye, and babies cannot be from a random occurrence.

Do you now believe the universe was created?

The camera is one of the most complex inventions created by man. Able to capture light and recreate what we see, the camera is a marvel of technology and human engineering. But takes intelligent people to build it. Could the hundreds of parts used to build a camera just fall into place and build a camera randomly?

As complex and technologically advanced as the modern camera is, it pails in comparison to the complexity of the human eye.

The eye has 120 million rod cells and 6 million cone cells.

Just like a lens in a camera sends a message to produce a film, the lens in the eye bends incoming light onto the retina to send to messages to our brain.

In seeing all of the evidence around you, and the finding that has been agreed upon by very smart people, that the universe had a beginning...

It takes more faith to believe that it all happened by chance than it does to see the design in creation.

So if God were real and Heaven did exist, would you go there?

Now, this was not meant to judge you...

If God judges you by the Ten commandments on judgement day, are you going to be innocent or guilty?

It is tough to consider ourselves guilty of sin. It's tough to judge ourselves. But the bible says we are ALL sinners.
NO one is without sin.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

- Romans 3:23
